DQ 5) Organizational stress takes many forms inside an organization (e.g., competition, reduced margins, employee stressors, ineffective leadership, disruptive change, poor processes, etc.). Organizational stress can impact current and potential performance in the organization. It can also negatively impact a change initiative. An I/O psychologist must understand these stressors as they could impact the success of moving an organization from its current state to the desired future state. Discuss one of the organizational stressors in the workplace and propose one solution to reduce organizational stress. How might this solution improve organizational performance or enable change to be successful.
