The article critique should be 2 – 3 pages (this does not include cover page or
reference page as one of the pages) and constructed around the following outline:
There should be an intro paragraph where you introduce the topic and article you will
be discussing.
There should be a second paragraph where you explicitly name the economic subject
your article covers and define that subject. The remainder of this paragraph should
be a summarization of the article in your own words and any new knowledge you feel
you gained from the article.
The next paragraph should be to identify at least one strength of the article and at
least one weakness of the article.
The final paragraph should be your conclusion and include whether you feel this is an
positive or normative economic article and why.
