For African American Literature : The paper should use two works read to compare the life and hardships of black women throughout the time of slavery and discrimination faced/still faced today; however they continue to keep pushing on. The two works to be used are “How It Feels to be Colored Me,” by Zora Neale Hurston (1928) & Mother to Son BY Langston Hughes.
