Contemporary Biology issue

Introduction: Research the environmental issue that you chose for Project 6 that is a threat to biodiversity (e.g. pollution, climate change, habitat loss, etc.).
Directions: Based on the information you discovered in the Planet Earth II videos located in Units 5-7 STUDY sections, and the topics covered in Chapters 20-21 from your Concepts of Biology text, complete a Summary and Analysis paper according to the following:

  1. Building on the topic and outline you developed for Project 6, thoroughly explain a specific aspect of the environmental/conservation issue that is a threat to biodiversity (e.g. pollution, climate change, habitat loss, etc.) and describe its global impact. Below are some questions to consider:
    • What conservation measures are being used to alleviate the impact of this environmental threat?
    • Does the field of science have a positive or negative effect on this issue? Explain.
    • From a Christian Worldview perspective, what concerns does this issue raise? What should be the Christian response to this issue? Explain your answers and relate to scriptures.
    • What actions can you personally take to positively influence this issue?
  2. Your completed Summary and Analysis on an environmental issue that is a threat to biodiversity and addresses the questions stated in the Directions above should be 750-800 words.
  3. Remember to cite your sources properly. You MUST use at least 4 sources in your paper; one source must come from the Concepts of Biology textbook and the other sources from your own research. Follow the formatting style used in your discipline APA.
