Cell Anatomy: Anatomy Demonstration and Worksheets
LEARNING GOALS By the end of this unit, you should be able to do the following:
1. Describe the difference between an organelle and the rest of the structures in a cell.
2. Describe the function of each structure in a cell.
3. Describe and recognize the visual appearance of each structure in a cell that can be seen
through your microscope.
4. List structures and organelles found in plant cells, but not found in animal cells.
5. List organelles found in eukaryotic cells, but not found in prokaryotic cells. Demonstration with a worksheet. You do not need to fill out an experiment tracking sheet for this lab.
ASSIGNMENT Once you have finished with the interactive cell animations, go to the next module item. This is the Cell Anatomy Worksheet. You will be typing in the blanks on this worksheet and submitting it in the assignment box that is linked to this module.
