The three most significant things I learned in this course are:
· How to create comprehensible visuals from the data provided and find relationships using the tools available to me.
· How to enhance messages through visuals, using visual cues such as color schemes, font, hierarchy design, size, and icons.
· How to make appropriate decisions based on the outcome I want while being considerate of perceptions and maintaining integrity.
What was the learning moment in this course?
The learning moment in this course was being able to apply my skills to the assignments and receiving feedback for the work I completed. Obtaining feedback tells me what I need to work on and which aspects I completed successfully.
If you could change one thing about this course, what would it be?
Create assignments where students must create visuals from Tableau. I have learned that this is a free tool for people to use. Familiarizing oneself with Tableau would prove highly beneficial in the long run since most healthcare companies use Tableau as one of the main visual reporting tools.

What were the three most significant things that you have learned in this course?
1. Data visualization is a powerful tool for making sense of complex datasets and sharing insights clearly. By putting data in a visual format, users can see patterns, trends, and relationships more clearly, which helps them gain more insight and make better decisions.
2. To effectively show the data and get the message across, it's important to choose the right way to visualize it. Different kinds of data, like categorical or numerical, need different ways of representing them visually and different kinds of charts. Understanding the characteristics of the data and the message that needs to be sent helps choose the best way to display it, whether it's a bar chart, line graph or scatter plot.
3. Putting data points on a chart is not enough to show data in a useful way. Use clear and concise labels, choose the right colors and scales, make sure the data is scaled correctly, and avoid clutter and other unnecessary distractions. Using these rules helps people understand visualizations correctly and reduces the chance that they will be misunderstood or cause confusion.
What was the learning moment in this course?
The power of storytelling visually. I learned that data visualization isn't just about making charts and graphs that look good. It's also about telling a story that engages the audience and gets across the insights that can be drawn from the data. I learned how to organize and present data visualizations in a way that is interesting. I learned to think about more than just the data itself and think about the visualization's context, purpose, and audience. I know how important it is to set up a clear storyline, use the right annotations and titles, and place visual elements in a way that draws the audience's attention.
If you could change one thing about this course, what would it be?
I can't think of anything that would make this course better. This quarter, I've learned a lot from this class, which I've enjoyed.

What were the three most significant things that you have learned in this course?
I thought it was important to learn how to use video in appropriate especially not making it too entertaining to avoid people tuning out. Another thing I thought was interesting to see all the different ways to construct an infographic. The importance of the use of colors and fonts to help illustrate your points.
What was the learning moment in this course?
I thought the lectures did a great job portraying the material in a clear way.
If you could change one thing about this course, what would it be?
I can't really think of anything.

What were the three most significant things that you learned in this course?
· Learning about dashboards and information graphics: managing and presenting complex data that is easy for the viewer to interpret
· Graphical Analysis: identify significance and trends; identify factors and their impact on the results; and view patterns for future events.
· Challenges in Data Visualization: The message itself could be misleading or create confusion; having a clear and understandable message is the most important thing in creating a data visualization.
What was the learning moment in this course?
The learning moment in this course is reading every idea in the weekly discussion. I found this very helpful, and I have learned a lot from it.
If you could change one thing about this course, what would it be?
Overall, I had a great experience in this course. I don't have anything to change.

What were the three most significant things that you have learned in this course?
I have learned the importance of visual elements like charts, graphs, and maps that convey a message, understand trends, and analyze information in one frame of the dashboard.
I have learned how data outcomes are presented to present a specific message, the challenges and complexity of the visual message, and how to overcome the barriers.
The moving picture concept was interesting as it defined how tools are used to create animation and transitions and how to apply a story for data visualization.
I learned different types of data visualization and how to efficiently use them using visual communication and thinking, learning about how shapes and pictures convey messages and meaning.
What was the learning moment in this course?
The power presentation was a great way to absorb information and understand concepts each week. I also enjoyed reading everyone’s discussion which had interesting and powerful insights. Through the weekly assignments, I learned and did new things relating to data visualization.
If you could change one thing about this course, what would it be?
I think the course was a great learning experience on data visualization and covered a lot of information. I wouldn’t change anything.

The three most significant things I learned in this course was how to use restraint in displaying content, what type of charting is best for certain types of data and the revelations made in studies in regard to how people prefer to interact with visualized data.
The learning moment in this course for me was between Modules 4, 5, and 6. The pivot tables were a very accessible, powerful and practical tool to utilize in my personal works.
Overall, the course was helpful with it's various sources and ways of presenting information. I also liked how most content was pretty recent in creation. Perhaps the criteria for assignments could be more specific though I do admit that thinking about what is wanted does flex the brain a good bit. As time consuming as it is to create our own examples, that hands on experience is very helpful in absorbing the information. Any increase in that would be great.
