Respiratory- very distinct system- the organs of the respiratory  systems are Nose, Pharynx,  Larynx ,Trachea Two bronchi Bronchioles Two lungs Functional anatomy, histology and how they are related: Nose (Nasal cavity): It is divided into right and left portions by means of nasal septum. The respiratory system is important because it moves fresh air into your body and at the same time removing waste gas. Normally with respiratory we always thinks it’s main function is for breathing but is much more than that. Respiratory System can also be divide into 2 portions  the conducting and respiratory. The conducting zone includes the organs and structures that are not directly involved in the gas exchange process. The respiratory zone is where gas exchanges happened.

Portions of the respiratory system are also used for non-vital functions, such as sensing odors, speech production, which includes speech vocalization, crying ,laughing  and for straining, such as during childbirth or coughing.
