In a four-to-six-page essay (typed, double-spaced), define a symbol of your culture. For instance, if you are Canadian or have Canadian lineage in your family, you can write about the maple leaf or the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Explain the significance of your symbol. How does/did it influence you, your peers, your family, and your culture?
