There are four parts to this assignment. Be sure to follow the sequential order provided below.
1. Bringing together the concepts you have learned throughout this course, generate three separate lists of strengths relevant to resilience. The first list will focus on your own resilience. The second list should focus on your students. The third list of strengths will focus on your colleagues. Submit a completed Focusing on Strengths template below.

2. Reflecting on your lists of strengths, identify a specific goal related to resilience. For example, there may be something you are doing that is highly effective for building resilience. Your goal might draw on that strength and address how you might bring it into the classroom or share it with your colleagues. Another example could be that you are part of a group of colleagues at work who are all interested in strengthening students' resilience. You might draw on the strength of this community and determine specific actions the community can take to collaborate, such as launching a Professional Learning Community (PLC). Articulate your goal following the SMARTER goal approach: specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, time-bound, evaluate and reflect. There is a template in your resources to guide you. You will submit the template below.

Be sure your letter identifies your goal and the actions you want to take in a concise manner. You can refer to the “attached” action plan template for additional details as if the action plan template from this assignment is accompanying your letter to this person. A rationale that justifies the goal and actions should be incorporated into the letter.
