Part 2: Individualized Practicum Learning Objectives
Objective 1: To understand the best way to collaborate effectively with other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care to patients at the end of week 10.
Planned activities.
Participating in Interprofessional education sessions. The sessions should be facilitated by professionals from different healthcare disciplines and provide opportunities for students to collaborate on patient care scenarios.
Participating in case studies that focus on inter-professional collaboration to help develop critical thinking and communication skills. The case studies should include scenarios that require collaboration between different healthcare team members.

Understand the best way of implementing inter-professional collaboration to improve the patient's clinical care quality.
Objective 2: To conduct a thorough literature review to identify existing assessment tools and methods for advanced practice psychiatric mental health nursing skills at the end of week 10.
Planned activities:
Preparation of search strategy used to identify relevant literature sources. Preparing a presentation summarizing the findings of the literature review will be measured based on the quality of the content and clarity. A summary of the main findings of the literature review, including the types of assessment tools and methods identified, their strengths and limitations, and their alignment with learning outcomes which will improve the analysis of the literature review (Regmi & Jones, 2020)

Objective 3: To develop an appropriate plan of care based on screening instruments response at the end of week 10.
Planned activities:
Use case studies focusing on advanced nursing practice competencies to help develop critical thinking and decision-making skills. The case studies should focus on patient care scenarios relevant to the practicum setting. Plan learning activities that focus on applying advanced nursing practice competencies in the practicum setting. These activities include conducting patient assessments, developing care plans, providing evidence-based care, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
Mode of Assessment: Use of formative and summative assessment where Written reflection, preceptor feedback, and evidence portfolio demonstrate progress.
PRAC Course Outcome (s) Addressed:
To develop professional plans in advanced nursing practice for the practicum experience.
To have a greater understanding of screening instruments and how they can be interpreted with high accuracy.
Part 3: Projected Timeline/Schedule
The expected time for practicum experience is expected to be conducted in a period of 160 hrs. The expected number of patients to be attended to during this period is 180. The time will be equally divided for Professional Development and Practicum Coursework.
