“Format of Debate Memo:
In this memo you will lay out three compelling arguments *for* and three compelling arguments *against* the particular debate topic. You do not need to agree or disagree with the arguments you use.

You are expected to draw upon course readings in constructing your debate memo. For full credit, you need to specifically reference/cite course material within at least 4 of your 6 arguments. When citing materials from class you can simply cite the name of the author and page number or the lecture date- if you draw upon lecture slides. You do not need to include a reference page, if you are using course material. However, if you draw from outside materials you will need to provide a full citation in a references section.”
