During the last few years, we experienced the highest inflation the United States has experienced since the 1970’s. As a perspective, for the most part, the recent inflation rate was only about half of what that rate was 50-some years ago. Research what occurred during the 1970s; outlining both the causes and the steps which were taken to combat inflation at that time. The paper should be between 3 to 5 pages in length, using at least three outside sources.
