and an interview. You do not need to write the cover letter, but in your post consider the following questions:
Do your current job skills align to those required for the posted position?
How would you tie your skills to those identified in the job posting?
How would you open your cover letter to spur interest from the company/organization?
How would you prepare for an interview?
