1. what wage and work hour protections exist for employees today?
2. Identify and explain at least three and of them, which is most important and why?
3. Explain the law regarding worker’s compensation in your home state (Georgia) when an employee is hurt on the job. Provide a source for your information.
4. To ensure employee safety in the workplace, Congress passed the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970. The Act is administered by the
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) that investigates safety and health violations in the workplace and, through the justice department,
imposes fines and/or injunctions on companies that violate the Act.
5. Research a safety and health violation in your home state using the link provided and tell us about it.
