Application of Political and Symbolic Frames Q1: Identify a collaborative initiative within your school or district. How did the political assumptions/propositions come into play when the collaborative effort was initiated and/or implemented? What or who were the sources of power and how was power exerted? Q2: What impact did the effort have on the vision, values, and culture of the school or district as it relates to support or resistance to change? What symbolic actions, if any, were taken by authorities or partisans? Discussion Board for Module 6 (Part II) – Organizational Improvement Change Project Update Post an update to your Organizational Improvement Change Topic. Apply what you have learned about generational diversity and the four frames discussed by Bolman and Deal (2017). The information you are posting will relate to sections three and four of your Organizational Improvement Change Project. Section three addresses obstacles, impediments and supports for c​‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍​hange. Section four addresses applications of two or more of Bolman and Deal’s (2017) frames to your change initiative. Write the question and your answer to each of the following. Change Project Update Q3: How might generational differences impact the progress of your change project? How might you tap into existing hubs and nodes (Reeves, 2006) to garner support? Q4: Which frames are the most important to consider, given the climate and culture of your school or district? Include references from the literature, as appropriate, using APA citation.
