In chapter 2, Walliman provides a detailed explanation of the difference between inductive and deductive reasoning. This is a critical component of research methods as the reasoning you use as a researcher will dictate various aspects of your project (i.e. hypothesis, premises, methods, etc.). That said, use this week’s discussion to provide your own explanation of each type of reasoning. Be sure to include your own examples for each as well.
