For this assignment, examine your own community and identify an adult substance use problem. If possible, narrow your selection to a particular gender, age, or ethnic group, and then browse SAMHSA’s website and choose an intervention that would be appropriate for your community.
Prepare a brochure that explains why your community needs this type of program, the resources needed to implement it, and the evidence that supports the implementation of this intervention. Provide examples from your research and current events or news (if applicable) to support your findings.
Support your assignment with at least three scholarly resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including seminal articles, may be included.
