Select a topic (significant question, issue, trouble, or problem facing society today or that society may face in the future) and write a short description of how you plan to use sociological ideas, concepts, and approaches to research and act to address the problem.
1)state the topic or topics to receive attention
2) explain why the topic is professionally and socially important
3) discuss the macro- and micro-level issues associated this problem (doing so in light of how microlevel and and macrolevel social phenomena are defined and distinguished in the course content)
4) list potential theoretical framework(s) that could be use to examine or structure action around this topic (these should be Sociological frameworks beyond the traditional Sociological paradigms—Conflict Theory, Structural Functionalism, Symbolic Interactionism) and
5) a working bibliography of at least 4 key, scientific references you may use (note: scientific references should include articles from peer-reviewed scientific journals, content from relevant books, review articles summarizing research on specific topics, or government reports or sponsored reports;
