As you examine America as “the melting pot”, specifically, discuss some of the challenges and triumphs experienced in attempts to ‘blend in’ or ‘assimilate’. You may expand your discussion on these experiences by interjecting your own (if relevant) or those of family members. Research at least one additional external source to support your points.
