Being organized makes life easier and prevents a lot of chaos in my life. This is a strategy that has been useful for me. The literature review matrix process is perfect for me because the document will continue to help keep me organized as I go through this process. Dr. Gary Burkholder literature review examples were great insight on how to get to the point, have structure, and clear process. I was able to clearly understand the topic, direction, and their process. I have been working on that because in the beginning, figuring out my dissertation topic had me all over the place. I currently have a clear idea of what my topic is and how to structure my writing process.

I do not have a question because I have figured out a way to handle this issue, which is staying focused on my topic and working on ways to continue to make it unique to me after realizing that others have had similar topic, based on my research.

Literary review seems to be a way to organize data from journals or other forms of scholarly writing. I can see that it is a great way to summarize and categorize studies to access at a future date. The advantage for me would be to organize and access several studies at once. I have no clue what my dissertation is going to be about. I am constantly thinking about topics and ideas.
