Option 1: Your friends invite you over for pizza and gaming night. Describe how the following parts of the brain are used that night: hippocampus, hypothalamus, occipital lobe, Broca’s area and _______ (you share one of the brain parts you’d use from our chapter). You will share 5 brain parts total, 4 were given to you. Please share one more from our textbook chapter this week and explain how you would use it.
Option 2: Many videos or pages on the internet talk about being “left-brained” or “right-brained.” Are these claims of lateralization supported by scientific evidence? Why or why not? Hint, check section 3.4.
