Choose one of the following topics for your first paper, 3 pages in length, double-spaced. Clarify and defend your insights using direct quotations from the text. The content of the argument, the style of the composition, and the use of standard grammar and spelling will be taken into account in the grading process. Please use one-inch margins and a reasonably sized font (10- or 12- point). Pages should be numbered and the paper should be titled.
Due date: emailed to me at [email protected] no later than Friday, June 2 at noon.
Please email me your paper in Word, rather than as a closed .pdf, so I can access it to insert comments and grade. No late papers will be accepted.
