Collective effervescence,’ as the sociologist Emile Durkheim

The second research paper requires the student to (a) consider the role that ‘collective effervescence,’ as the sociologist Emile Durkheim described it, played in the various responses to the most recent pandemic. Note bene: (b) an exposure to the specific information provided in the narrated PPT on conspiracy theory must be demonstrated in the body of the second paper. This work must (c) include at least two authoritative references drawn from the period 2022-23.

I had someone do this, but i recieved not a good grade. Please help make it better.

here is the professers notes:

considerable work remains to be done.

dig deeper into the research on collective effervescence.

review the reqts of the piece listed in the syllabus, e.g. demonstrate an exposure to the specific information provided in the narrated PPT on conspiracy theory.

expand the number of sources from authoritative/academic sources. The best way to do so is to rely on the search engines of the DePaul library. The librarians of the university are also an invaluable resource; a brief chat with one should provide good information.
There are more than a few curious statements in the piece, e.g. ‘To use collective effervescence safely during the pandemic, encourage appropriate conduct.’ and ‘Collective effervescence has helped and hurt the COVID-19 epidemic.’

Eliminate the considerable amount of redundancy throughout the body of the work.
