Akito owns a small grocery store in Seattle. He has struggled for over a year to keep his store open during COVID restrictions and has been forced to borrow money from the bank, using his house as collateral. This past Friday night, a group of Black Lives Matter supporters was protesting police brutality, when they encountered a group of Ku Klux Klan members who were opposed to the protests. A fight ensued and several businesses in the area were torched. The arson resulted in the destruction of Akitos store.

You are a law enforcement officer for the Seattle Police Department and have been dispatched to Akitos home. His wife, Asia, called the department and explained that the insurance on the store will not cover the damages and Akito fears that he will lose his livelihood and his home. He has a gun and has threatened to kill himself. Asia meets you at the front of the home and tells you that she loves him and begs you to help save Akitos life. Your sergeant reminds you that the department is short-staffed and advises you to resolve the situation.
