The Renaissance was a period of great social change affecting all aspects of life in 15th and 16th century Europe including politics, religion, literature and the visual arts. To help understand the changes that occurred at this time we can look to the visual arts and identify stylistic differences between art of the Renaissance from art of the preceding period known as the Middle Ages.
Instructions: 1. To help you identify unique characteristics of the Renaissance style, watch the episode below from
