Discussion.

Purpose

Biblical theology ought not to be only a mental exercise in academics but a discipline that affects the life of a believer and spiritual growth. This discussion seeks to first explore a definition of biblical theology and then move into thinking through ways that the discipline can aid in a believer’s sanctification. All knowledge should have real-life applications. As believers, our ultimate aim is the mission of Jesus Christ.

Instructions

compare Rosner’s article, Roark & Cline’s chapters, and the lecture’s definitions of Biblical Theology, and then describe how the discipline can be applied to the life of a believer. Initial posts should be between 250-350 words in length. See the grading rubric for further details.

Instructions for Replies

Include at least one scholarly question, and you are encouraged to provide additional examples or counterexamples to refine the conversation.
