Is democracy in decline around the world today?
It should be structured with standard subheadings as follows:
- Introduction (include the selected question, the plan of your paper and synopsis of
your argument) - Review of the core theoretical debates
- Summary of the empirical literature and existing evidence
- Conclusions and implications
Important:
In examining the question the essay should compare country cases, either a small sample(minimum 2), or drawing upon wider cross-national evidence from
around the world, or in a
particular region. Provide some conceptual framing – define key concepts, and if concept is debated, mention these debates
