Creative Response: For this Response, you are to create a work of art that communicates your feelings about art, in other words, how you value art. You can use any media you like (digital, collage, painting, drawing, sculpture) anything except for photography. Please do your best but It will not be graded for artistic technical skill but rather on your effort. Do your own work and new work for this project. Do not upload something you’ve done in the past.
How does Valuing differ from Appreciating?
Appreciating: Is something you understand, recognize, acknowledge, admire, realize, etc.
Valuing: Is something that you prize, cherish, treasure, hold dear, or transforms you.
After you have created your work you will need to take a picture of it and upload it to the discussion board, then write a paragraph with 5 or more sentences discussing your thought process in creating your artwork in how you value art.
