One of the main jobs of historians is to interpret the past by reviewing primary documents, scholarly secondary sources, and then creating an analysis of this research. After reading your text and reviewing the assigned materials, submit an analysis of women’s suffrage.
You might want to consider the following questions, but you are not limited to them: Trace the women’s suffrage movement from the roots to the ratification of the 19th Amendment. Also, study the anti-suffrage resources. Did the movement only involve men or women? What images, words or phrases jump out to you? What can we in the present-day United States learn from the women’s fight for suffrage?
