7. Have a well-organized and logical paragraph structure with an effective introduction and conclusion.
8. Be 3-4 pages long (1000-1200 words). To earn a passing grade, your essay must be a minimum of 3 full pages, so go on to the 4th page to be sure. Essays
that have not met the page requirement will not earn a passing grade and cannot be revised.
9. Include documentation of quotations from the Ted Talk in MLA style. This includes a Works Cited page. If you did any additional research to help with your
analysis of the Ted Talk, any sources you used should also be documented on the Works Cited page. Each speech is given because of a particular context.
You can read more about what the context is (e.g., year, problems going on at the time, conflicting ideas, etc.), but for this essay, you are not required to use
any other source besides the text/speech.
10. Have an original title. Do not title your essay the title of the Ted Talk.
