Essay Prompt:
In a formal essay, explain the major forces and events within colonial American life that led to the American Revolution. Your response must include a clear
demonstration of both the long-term trends (within North American British colonial society) that led to a desire for Independence AND the short-term causes
and practical disputes that led directly into the war.
*You will want to utilize information from Chapters 3 through Chapter 5 but, it may be useful to go beyond these chapters depending on your approach.
