Hegel’s concept of property

Brief Requirement: about 4000-4500 words literature review on the topic of Hegel’s concept of property (in the manifestation of personality and meaningful possession) and it is an application to the movie ‘Dreaming Walls: Inside the Chelsea Hotel
The whole Philosophy of Right, but focus on the sections on Abstract Right, especially for Property,
this will include but not limited to,
– the definition of and the difference between ownership and possession
– whether the idea of contract is established between only two parties, and who are entitled to established contractual relationship
– how is Hegel’s idea of freedom related to his idea of abstract right and property
– the correlation between lord-bondsman dialectic and the idea of (the possession and ownership of) property
– elaboration of the quotation such as §75- ‘the object about which a contract is made is a single external thing, since it is only things of that kind which the parties’ purely arbitrary will has it in its power to alienate;’ ‘there are two identical wills who are both persons and wish to remain property-owners’ and ‘because we are already citizens of the state by birth. The rational end of man is life in the state, and if there is no state there, reason at once demands that one be founded. Permission to enter a state or leave it must be given by the state; this then is not a matter which depends on an individual’s arbitrary will and therefore the state does not rest on contract, for contract presupposes arbitrariness.’ And §78- ‘we had the distinction between ownership and possession, between the substance of the matter and its purely external side, so here in contract we have the difference between a common will – covenant – and a particular will – performance. It lies in the nature of contract that it should be an expression of both the common and the particular will of the parties, because in it will is related to will.’
– the idea of particularity and subjectivity according to §136 of Philosophy of Right. And the application of particularity and subjectivity.

– The writer must refer to the literature review on Philosophy of Right and content from §1-104 are necessary. Phenomenology of Spirit is also important for Hegel’s recognition. Other important texts are included in the zip. DO NOT repeat Knowles and Moore texts in the review. I would need at least 7 literature to be reviewed. The review does not need the writer to be very critical in relating the text to my topic but needs to be very clear on Hegel’s original idea and the better the simpler the use of words.
– Other text required:
– Robert B Pippin: What is the Question for which Hegel’s theory of Recognition is the Answer?
– Renato Cristi, Hegel on Property and Recognition, 1995, pp.335-343
– Person and Property in Hegel’s Philosophy of Right, Joachim Ritter
