Christology from a Latin American worldview (context of poverty)

produce a systematic treatise of Christology from a Latin
American worldview (context of poverty); according to a Majority World culture that is not your own, not only explicating how it may be expressed and
contextualized from the vantage point of that culture, but also explaining how it would differ from “standard” Western theology (whether it be
Protestant/evangelical or Catholic).
Make sure there is enough identifying biblical
citations that support it (so, even though it is culturally relevant, it is still biblically faithful), but also theologians from that context that support it, and good
cultural explications for why certain things are emphasized or expressed as such (e.g. mothers are more important than fathers in Latin America which is
why there would be more emphasis on the Virgin of Guadalupe than even Jesus himself).
Books to HEAVILY consider:
Majority World Theology by Gene
Majority World Theologies by Allen Yeh (chpt 9-11)
Theology in the Context of World Christianity
by Timothy Tennent.
