Organization’s need for change

 

Write an analysis that addresses an organization’s need for change. The student may examine a current or past work setting, a non-profit, or
a for-profit organization. The student will identify the area in need of change and, using Kotter’s change model, describe the methodology for introducing the
change.
• The paper will include 5-6 pages of content, in addition to the title page, abstract, and reference page(s).
• The paper will be in current APA format.
• The paper must include a title page, an abstract, and a Reference section.
• At least 5 references (scholarly, peer-reviewed journals or respected trade publications) in addition to the Kotter text and the Bible (at least 7 total
references).
• The format of the paper should follow this outline:
• Title Page
• Abstract
• Content (5–6 pages)
• Introduction (Do not use the word “introduction”; follow APA guidelines)
• Section 1: Identification of industry and organization and area in need of change
• Section 2: Plan for implementing the change (apply all 8 steps from Kotter, using supportive literature and analysis of why this step is critical and details on
how you will introduce this change in the specified organization. Follow this approach for each step).
• Conclusion
• Reference section
