Budget and Governance

This week’s Final Assignment Milestone is to think about a budget for your organization and how your organization will be governed and staffed.
Part one of your assignment this week is to describe the key employees that your organization would employ for the first year of its operation, including the Board of Directors.
Governance and employees: Will you have a Board of Directors? What qualifications do you want your board members to have? What position will you hold in the organization? CEO? What are the qualifications of your CEO? Will you have staff? How many? What skills do they need?
Part two of your assignment is to list your estimated operating expenses for the first year.
Budget: Will your organization have employee salaries and benefits? Will there be accounting and legal fees? What will it cost to develop a website? How much will you spend on printing and advertisement? Will there be rent to pay? Can you estimate interference, postage, Internet, and telephone expenses? You should consider a budget for equipment and office supplies.

Your completed paper should be two pages formatted according to APA standards. While no title page is required, you must complete a reference page showing any research references. You may wish to submit page 2, the budget portion of your paper, as an Excel spreadsheet.
