  1. Abdullah runs a supermarket in Kuwait. He wants to hire Zaina as a cashier. He writes in the labor contract that Zania will be entitled to a paid maternity leave of 60 days. Is this provision legal? Why?
  2. Zaina objects to the abovementioned provision in her contract. Abdullah agrees to 80 days of paid maternity leave. Is this agreement legal? Why?
  3. Abdullah hires Ali as a sales assistant without a written contract. Is Ali entitled to a salary? Why?
  4. The supermarket goes bankrupt. Are Ali and Zaina entitled to terminal service indemnity? Why?
