Applied Behavior Analysis

Prepare a case study using the following background information below and uploaded attachment file.
A few weeks ago, I was introduced to a four-year-old boy who will be referenced as Student A. Student A is currently in kindergarten and attends school daily. Student A has recently been diagnosed with autism. According to caregivers, student A has also recently began expressing himself verbally. He receives speech and occupational therapy among other services during school hours. Student A comes from a loving environment. He is a twin and lives at home with his parents and twin sister.
– Some of the behaviors displayed by student A include excessive yelling, crying, and eloping. Various behavior reduction strategies have been presented to decrease and
replace the problem behaviors such as breathing exercises, using gestures of tapping to gain attention from others
– Follow 10 1-step direction within 3 seconds
– Perform self-soothing skills with counting up and counting down to 10
On the centralreach website, the BA’s are able to document the behavior and time when the client engages in problem behavior or uses replacement behavior which allows for graphing and visualization for overall better assisting the BA with learning on the progress of the client.
