For this essay, you will address the question through making a historical argument. Consult the identification list from Weeks 2 to 6 and pick at least five key terms which you think are relevant to the answer. Elaborate on each of those terms and use that to inform your thesis. For example, what was Bacon’s Rebellion, and how does it support or weaken Hannah-Jones’s notion of a Black founding?
