the Sam Bankman Fried (SBF) recent scandal and whether longtermism (a form of effective altruism) as an application of utilitarianism is a better solution
than personnal and collective engagement in concrete tangible actions such as proposed by Greta Thunberg and supported by numerous alternative
movements and protests around the world (Iranian women, BLM, Gilets Jaunes, Occupy Wallstreet, Nuit Debout, Extinction Rebellion, to name just a few
