You are a new leader replacing a long-term executive terminated for inappropriate behavior. You have a large team of over 500 employees and four supervisors who report directly to you. Morale is low, production is below expectations, and working standards are not being met. Respect for leadership is low, and trust of leaders is almost nonexistent. The company has a strong past performance record, yet the company has not met expectations in several quarters. The board of directors has submitted a few questions and requested responses from you and an explanation of your plans moving forward.
